< back to Andy's blogAgainst the grain - day 10

Left Wanarn School with all the kids coming out asking us to do wheelies. Being the considerate group that we are we spun around, crated some dust and left for Warakurna. On the way some iof us saw wild camels (5 of them) and we continued onto Warakurna. We thought we would od an a morning session the next day at the school but we managed to organise an afternoon session straigh away. The kids were fantastic and we had a fun session. Was sorry to hear that a lot of te kids are fairly deaf due to ear infections. I hope that we get on top of this problem soon as kids this young being near deaf is NOT acceptable. (As an after note we met two of the teachers in Uluru on the seekend and they said that the kids had heeded our seat belt message and had belted up including the driver on a trip soon after our school session-hope this lasts. Off to bed at the roadhouse with signs of lots of rain coming
