I never thought I'd have to say goodbye to my son, at 22yrs old.
It should be the parents who go before their kids - not the other way around.
Unfortunately I've had to say goodbye to three of my four, and it doesn't get any easier either. The other two were babies, but my gorgeous boy had a new flat, a good job, and was doing really well.
But yep, I'm another one who has had to try and now fit our shattered world into the 'normal' world.

Julie, it’s so hard isn’t it, when the natural order of things that you expect to happen in your life just comes crashing down?

Each young life lost is such a tragic waste. So much potential, so many plans and dreams for the future gone so suddenly. So many families turned upside down.
I wpnder is there such a thing as “normal” now – as you said the normal order of things in our families have been reversed and we have had to say goodbye to our children before their time.
