< back to Jennfer's blogTwo Months ago.

I can't believe it is two months since my Little brother Adam passed away.  Time seems to have flown, but I still feel stuck at the moment when the police came to the door and told me Adam had been killed in a car crash.

I am trying to take it one day at a time, but I still expect him to walk through the door and for this all to be a nightmare that I can wake up from.

Mum and Dad have been through so much, I can't imagine how they manage to cope and be so strong.  I look to them for my inspiration.  My daughter Lily also gives me a reason to live and the baby that is due in April next year has given us all a ray of light to look forward too.  It's just hard to think that this baby isn't going to know it's Uncle Adam.

Hi Jennfer, I’m so sorry to hear about your brother Adam. It’s still early days for you yet, so the way you’re feeling is entirely normal.

You say that your mum and dad are so strong and you look to them for inspiration. My guess is that they look to you too, and you are all coping because you have each other in a strong family bond.

How wonderful that you have a new baby to look forward to Jennfer, and I’m sure that like all our children and family who are no longer with us,you will still feel the spirit of your precious Adam looking over you.

They may not be here with us physically but Adam will always be there in your heart.

Bye for now, let us know how you go on and especially when you have the new baby..how exciting.

Hugs Ann x
