What is 'Against the Grain'?
'Jim, Anton, Terry and Craig spend every day in a wheelchair. On the 8th of August they are embarking on the adventure of a lifetime, riding quad bikes across some of the most arid and desolate parts of Australia. They will travel from Fremantle to Adelaide via Uluru and Birdsville. They will cover 5000km as they each visit the crash sites where they injured their spines due to motorcycle or car crashes as young men. Halfway through the trip, in Uluru, Anton is going to marry the love of his life, Kate..… Kate is 26 weeks pregnant with twins!'
What's happening now?
After a frantic week in Perth filming all the back-stories we left Fremantle today!!!!
It was really exciting and about 200 people came to see the men off. We are so excited about this story!!!!!! The men will blog from the road as much as they can…..
