Hi there. I know this has been said before, but please let me remind you of the wonderful Road Trauma Support Services, of which I'm a representative to the board at the Victoria branch. I mentioned them in my story, and how they helped me with counselling, and later became great friends. They gave me back so much of the confidence I lost when I lost my beautiful Jane. I was able to be trained as a peer supporter, which enabled me to befriend others who have been devasted by the loss of a child as I have. I am shortly being trained to give my story at the Road Traffic seminars that consists of road offenders who have been sent by the courts or their solicitors. I also read out my story at last years Remembrance service at Parliament House in Melbourne. I know it wouldn't suit everyone to do this, but I just want to point out that with help from warm, professional people, you can regain that confidence that you lost and be helped to come to terms with what you have to face. There are different branches of Road Trauma support around the country, so if there is one near you, I really recommend that you consider having some free counselling from them. Sorry for banging on again about them, but if they only help one person after reading this, then I'm happy. Ann x
