Forum guidelines

Please make sure that any comments or topics that you add to the forum are in accordance with the community guidelines and the spirit of the community.

In particular, please remember the following...

  • Topics and comments can only be deleted by a moderator.
  • Keep all your posts as constructive as possible.
  • Take your time to look at other topics and see where your topic should go.
  • Respect the right of other members of the online community to express different opinions.
  • Do not publish any information regarding a legal case that has not yet gone to court or is currently in court.
  • Make it clear that you are speaking for yourself and that the opinions you express are views expressed by you and you alone.
  • Lead by example.
  • Avoid publishing anything inflammatory, unlawful, offensive, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
  • The comments you publish should relate to the impact of road trauma and road safety issues.
  • Please don’t swear.
  • It is not a space for blame.
  • It is not an environment where you argue with others about the details of a crash.
  • It is not a space to launch a public vendetta on a driver at fault.
  • The Journey Beyond Road Trauma team has the right to request alteration or deletion of any offensive post. Posts may be deleted for any reasons the forum administrators deem reasonable.
