Hi Sandra, I've only just found this section where you can make comments about the videos shown.

Your comments on the stages of grief are so true.  There are many stages, and from listening to others, everyone reacts in their own way.  After six years I've gone from anger, hopelessness, intense lack of confidence especially that nothing will ever be the same again, and now I think I've reached acceptance.

Having said that there are days when losing my daughter Jane feels as though it was only yesterday, and I have to work so hard to get myself back on track. Then I find that it's best for me to keep busy, but it doesn't go away, only becomes a bit more bearable.  I think that the grief will go on forever, but to a lesser degree as time goes by.    Ann

The day my son died in Road Crash was the same day I came to terms with my Nephew Jamies death nearly 8 years earlier.  I heard someone say today that after even so many years it is like having your arm ripped off, you learn to adjust to not having the arm there, but you are constantly reminded it is not there.
