I'm feeling Thankful.
I'm looking for connections with others affected by road trauma, connections with others who are affected by road trauma in their work, people who understand grief and loss, understanding about what it's like living with a chronic injury or disability, ways to support others who have been affected by road trauma, tools to campaign for road safety, opportunities to educate others about the effect of reckless driving, and encourage others who grieve.
I'm here because I want to remember someone who has passed away as a result of a road collision, I want to support someone who has been injured in a collision, I have personally been involved in a motor vehicle collision, a family member or friend has been affected by road trauma, I want to learn about road safety, and member Recommended I Join.

I am a mother of two adult son's who ride pushbikes to work. I live in fear that I will one day get that dreaded knock at the door, telling me the worse news any mother would want to hear. My heart goes out to those who have already lost a loved one. I can only imagine what that is like.
I write editorials for an Adult Campus Magazine, and write poems and short stories to encourage others. And in many cases, make people aware of things close to my heart. I feel very strongly as a mother, for those who suffer emotional and physical trauma.
